Q. What is the system requirements to run the Workflow Module?
A. Server Requirements
The Workflow Module has been developed to run exclusively on web sites hosted on Windows Servers with Internet Information Server 5.0 or higher and ASP 3.0 Installed. No other Platforms are supported.

Database Requirements
The Workflow Module supports Microsoft Access database. You don't need to own a license of MS Access in order to use the access database. Also, we provide the SQL Server database generation script for SQL Server 2000\2005 along with instructions to connect to it. If you don't have SQL Server 2000, you can use MSDE 2000 which is a scaled down version of SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server Express 2005 both free from Microsoft's web site.

Components
This application supports a 3rd party component to send auto emails : CDONTS, ASPMail, ASPEmail.

Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher on a windows based PC is required to use full features and system administration.

Q. Is the source code of the Workflow module provided, or its a hosted application?
A. Absolutely, The Workflow Module comes complete with the source code and it runs under your own domain and site. You don't have to pay any recurring fees or rely on a 3rd party company to maintain your Workflow on your site. No additional software, or monthly payments is required and it comes packed with everything you need to provide a fully accessible and easy to use Workflow system on your web site.

Q. When I order, do I get access to the FULL package online?
A. You bet! You will immediately receive a password to log in and download the code, watch the videos, listen to the audios and print out the PDF documents. Instant access, 24/7.

Q. Why you choose ASP 3.0 as a development language over other languages for the Workflow Module?
A. Currently, there are many development languages with nice features, for instance PHP, CFM, JSP, and .NET are all powerful development languages, as good as ASP 3. Hardware is getting cheaper too, having a 4 CPU server is now more affordable than ever. There are allot of debates going on wither to upgrade ASP based applications to .NET but for us, we honestly see no great advantage in doing so. As you can see for yourself that many sites are still not making the shift to .NET (domain registrar godaddy.com, is still running on ASP, even Microsoft's official website has many sections still written in ASP). We tend to focus more on the flexibility and the reliability of the application, rather than on what platform it's running on. Many ASP based sites reportedly handles huge amounts of traffic and data exchanges just fine (over three thousand unique visitors per day is the norm). However, if a customer requires us to develop a .NET version of the suite, we are more than happy to help, as a separate contract.

Q. I really want to get your Workflow Module, but I'm not having allot of users looking for a digital request approval yet, should I wait?
A. You certainly could, but it would be smarter to be prepared when your business grows and users' requests increase. It's best to begin getting familiar with the software as well as for them and then you can have a standard to implement the "digital request approval process" for either high or low volume requests.

Q. How long has Ready Web Projects been available and how many people are using it?
A. The Ready Web Projects suite of software has been available for over three years and is now being used by thousands of people worldwide.

Q. How is The Workflow Module different from the helpdesk module?
A. It's completely different because it routes the request directly to the manager. the Helpdesk module is great at managing issues, but with the Workflow module, you have more room to work as you can print\fax\email a certificate from within the system to external parties as a seal of completion. Apart from powerful features and bug free code. It gives you a new approach backed by work books and case studies that lets you apply our software for your gain and get you results.

Q. Is there is a limit on the number of requests and categories?
A. No, you can create as many as you want, as for the categories, you can create whatever number, Leave Requests, Training Requests, Vacation Requests, Timesheet, Recruiting Requests, Appraisals and whatever your business is having where information goes from one department to another for approval, its usually 10-15 processes, but you may need more.

Q. Information Routing and Paper-based Process assignment has been around for years, what makes your Workflow Module any different?
A. Yes, the concept of Information Routing and Process systemizing and standardizing is an old tried and very useful concept, probably its there since the beginning of time. However, in the computer age, its not yet well implemented because most people are not having a full understanding of process analyzing and the knowledge\experiences to materialize this in a web - based software tool. we have accomplished that in the workflow module. Granted, there are a few software vendors that are aware of that and has built dedicated software for each process (Recruiting, Travel, Vacation Management, Payroll, Timesheet Management) and others. The cost of such applications is simply not affordable by many people. Our approach is to enable you to use one application for all (regardless of the process) the actual delay happens from the time it takes a paper-based request move between one department to another and from sorting\forwarding to the right person, and not on other things. This system allows a department's key person to take action, once they receive an alert e-mail that some request needs their attention. We believe that if our system can save just one person 10-15 minutes per day from using the Workflow module, is a justified claim to pay for the software cost in 3 months period worth of usage.

Q. How soon can I expect to see results?
A. Many clients report that they start begin to see a much faster routing of their requests, as early as a day or two after they go live on their website with the workflow Module. Once they start handling all the requests in one system, they begin to focus on their unique ability in order to make their business more successful and not waste allot of time waiting for their requests to get routed to the right person\department.

Q. How easy is it to install?
A. The installation process is very easy and is explained in full detail in the user manual. Basically all you need to do is to unzip and upload some files to the web server (BY FTP) and update the database connection string by modifying a single line of code in a text file.

Q. My Web Host is Linux and I have a MySQL database, will that work?
A. Unfortunately no. This application has been developed to run exclusively on a Windows Based Server using MS-Access or SQL Server as the database. No other platforms are supported.
